Preaching at the Advanced Leadership Training by Christian Life Bangladesh (CLB) 2018

Introduction
I had the opportunity to serve as a preacher at the Advanced Leadership Training organised by Christian Life Bangladesh (CLB). The training was organised by the Khulna Team and held at Shalom A.G. Center, 12 Rupsha Strand Road, Khulna, Bangladesh, from 1 to 3 October 2028.

The training was designed to strengthen Christian leadership, spiritual formation, and ministry skills among church leaders and workers. It provided an important setting for participants to deepen their understanding of Christian leadership and to reflect on their responsibilities in serving the church and wider community.

My Role as a Preacher
As part of the programme, I was invited to preach and share God’s Word with the participants. Through the preaching sessions, I sought to encourage the participants in their spiritual lives and challenge them to understand leadership as a calling to serve God and others.

The messages focused on the importance of faith, integrity, servant leadership, spiritual maturity, commitment, and responsibility in Christian ministry. I encouraged the participants to develop leadership that is grounded in biblical principles and demonstrated through humility, compassion, accountability, and service.

Training and Fellowship
The Advanced Leadership Training also created an opportunity for participants to learn from one another and share their experiences in Christian ministry. The fellowship among leaders and ministry workers provided encouragement and helped strengthen relationships within the Christian community.

I appreciated the opportunity to interact with the participants, listen to their experiences, and understand some of the opportunities and challenges they face in their respective ministries. Such interaction reminded me of the importance of continuous learning, mutual encouragement, and cooperation among Christian leaders.

Reflection and Learning
Serving as a preacher at the training was also a meaningful learning experience for me. Preparing and delivering the messages encouraged me to reflect more deeply on the nature of Christian leadership and the responsibility of those who are called to serve others.

I was reminded that effective Christian leadership is not primarily about position or authority but about serving people faithfully, demonstrating Christ-like character, and helping others grow in their relationship with God.

The experience also encouraged me to continue investing in the development of emerging leaders and to contribute to programmes that strengthen Christian ministry and leadership.

Conclusion
My participation as a preacher at the Advanced Leadership Training by Christian Life Bangladesh (CLB) was a valuable and enriching experience. The programme provided an opportunity to share God’s Word, encourage Christian leaders, and participate in fellowship and learning with ministry workers.

I am grateful to the Khulna Team of CLB for the opportunity to serve at the training. I pray that the teaching, fellowship, and learning from the programme will continue to encourage the participants in their ministries and enable them to become faithful, responsible, and servant-hearted leaders in their churches and communities.
