On 21 September 2023, I had the privilege of serving as a guest trainer under The Leprosy Mission International in Bangladesh (TLMIB) and conducting a one-day training session titled “How to Communicate the Gospel in Different Communities” in Sreemangal, Moulvibazar, Sylhet.
A total of 30 participants attended the training, including pastors, evangelists, church leaders, social workers, and teachers. The primary objective of the training was to equip and empower the participants with practical knowledge and skills to communicate the Gospel effectively, respectfully, and appropriately within different community contexts.

Throughout the training, emphasis was placed on understanding the diverse backgrounds, cultures, beliefs, and social contexts of different communities. The participants were encouraged to develop effective communication approaches, build meaningful relationships, demonstrate Christ-like love, and share the Gospel with sensitivity, respect, and compassion.
The training provided an opportunity for the participants to strengthen their understanding of contextual Gospel communication and consider how to apply the learning in their respective ministries and professional roles. As representatives of their churches and communities, they were encouraged to become more effective in sharing the message of Christ and serving people from diverse backgrounds.
It was a meaningful opportunity to contribute to the capacity-building efforts of TLMIB by training and equipping 30 individuals for more effective community engagement and Gospel communication
