Outreach to Vulnerable Coastal Families

1. Background
As part of our ongoing Outreach Mission Works, a team visited the coastal community of Amtala, Dacope, Khulna, on May 2, 2026. The purpose of the visit was to reach families who are often marginalized and deprived of social and economic opportunities.
Many of the families in this community are landless, unseen, unheard, unvoiced, and deprived. Living in a vulnerable coastal environment, they face various challenges and have limited opportunities to access resources and support.
2. Objectives of the Outreach
The main objectives of the outreach were to:
Reach families who are socially and economically marginalized.
Share the message of God’s love, hope, and salvation.
Preach and teach the Word of God.
Listen to the needs, struggles, and concerns of the families.
Pray for the families and their individual needs.
Encourage and strengthen people who often feel forgotten and neglected.
Build meaningful relationships with the community for continued outreach and support.
3. Activities Conducted
During the outreach, the team visited 35 families in the Amtala community. We spent time with the families and engaged with them personally, seeking to understand their circumstances and concerns.
The following activities were carried out:
Preaching:
We shared the Gospel and preached the Word of God, emphasizing God’s love, grace, hope, and care for every person.
Teaching:
We taught biblical principles and encouraged the families to trust God and remain hopeful despite the difficulties they face.
Prayer:
We prayed with and for the families, bringing their spiritual, personal, family, and material needs before God.
Encouragement and Fellowship:
The team spent time listening to the people and encouraging them. This personal interaction helped communicate that they are valued, remembered, and not forgotten.
4. Impact and Outcomes
The outreach provided an important opportunity to connect with 35 vulnerable families in a community that is often overlooked. Through preaching, teaching, prayer, and personal interaction, the team was able to communicate a message of hope, dignity, love, and compassion.
The visit also helped establish and strengthen relationships with families in the area. We believe that the spiritual seeds planted during this outreach can produce lasting fruit as continued ministry and follow-up take place.
5. Testimony of Service
This outreach reminded us of the importance of going to people who are often unseen, unheard, and unvoiced. Rather than waiting for people to come to us, the mission team went into the community to meet them where they are, listen to them, serve them, and share the hope of Christ.
We are grateful for the opportunity to be instruments of God’s love and compassion among these families.

7. Conclusion
The May 2, 2026 Outreach Mission in Amtala, Dacope, Khulna was a meaningful opportunity to serve and connect with 35 vulnerable families. Through preaching, teaching, prayer, and fellowship, we sought to bring hope to people who are often overlooked and deprived.
We remain committed to reaching communities where people are landless, unseen, unheard, unvoiced, and deprived, and to demonstrating God’s love through both words and compassionate action.
